Fatherly Advice

Sophie was hiding in the pantry.

Caught Ya!

Caught Ya!

Eating a sucker.

After I snapped the picture, I took it from her and reminded her that she is not allowed to get candy without asking.  But I think she knew that seeing as how she was hiding in the pantry while eating it.

“Sorrrry,” she said, and then held out her hand to get it back.  I told her I was going to throw it away because she wasn’t supposed to get it and Dad was cooking supper.

There was weeping and gnashing of teeth.  I shared the news of the sucker trauma with Joe.

His fatherly advice:

“Sophie, you don’t closet it, baby.”

ha! I like the look in her eyes and can see that she has a mind of her own. (also, I like the nicely organized pantry – wow, with the big baskets – fabulous!)

Oh, that’s cute! We have a son who is 2 1/2. They’re fun, aren’t they? 🙂

I so appreciate that you stopped by my blog and introduced yourself! I LOVE “meeting” new bloggers and visiting new sites! I know I’ll enjoy reading some of your earlier posts.

Thanks for the WordPress tip. I’ve actually registered a domain name, but I’m too scared to branch out right now. Like you, I’d love a redesigned blog, but I doubt I’d be able to figure out how to run the thing! 🙂

Looking forward to seeing you again.
