Proud Family!

Consider this the first of several posts from our trip to Fort Jackson.  The stories, the laughter, the tears… too many too share in one post.

We were so amazed by the Soldiers’ surprise entrance through the smoke screen.  We had no idea they were in the woods.  They remained out of sight as we watched a demonstration of some of the Soldiers taking out the enemy.  Before they made their entrance, Sophie would point to some of the female Soldiers who were either on the platform, or in the field for the demonstration and say, “OHHH, there’s Cammie!”
Words cannot describe how wonderful it was to see Cammie.

We were so blessed to have Nana and Poppy travel with us.  But we sure missed the Joedaddy.  I have stories to share… and pics, pics, pics…

So stay tuned…

that totally gives me goosebumps… seriously… how amazing to have them emerge through the smoke and how insightful of you to have the camera clicking… keep ’em coming!

Annie,

That would be Court clicking the digital camera.

I was filming…and oh, that’s a story in itself.

I got it on film….but I really think the viewer would get a bit woozy watching it. REALLY…I’m THAT bad!

What a distinguished entrance!! It’s always good to be reunited with family, especially after such an adventure as military camp is. I pray the Lord continues to rain buckets upon buckets of love over you and your family, Rena!
